Rolling, Rolling, Rolling on the River

Despite the piling works and exams preparation, I still found time to watch movies. I'm a procrastinator, that's why. Here are titles of movies I watched recently and verdict given.

Up in the Air: A heartwarming movie, it was okay.

The Hurt Locker: SO THRILLING I was sweating bullets. I usually can't stand war movies, but this was amazing.

Sherlock Holmes: It was fun. ILU RACHEL MCADAMS BUT I SHIP RDJ-JUDE LAW.

The Princess and the Frog: The comeback of 2D Disney movies! A great one I might add.

Whip It: Quite boring. Same old story. But still fun.

Avatar: Smurfs + Pocahontas + Atlantis the Disney movie.

Where the Wild Things Are: Boring. Great music. Still, it was cute.

There Will Be Blood: Daniel Day-Lewis made 2,5 hours feel bearable.

Billy Elliott: It just became one of my favorite movies of all time. Amazing performance by Jamie Bell.

There are tons of movie I have but no time to watch all of it.

Sigh. Just wish me luck for the following weeks :'(

I'm back yo! Sebetulnya udah dari 2 hari yang lalu, namun rasa rindu yang teramat kepada tempat tidur sendiri bikin terlalu malas bangun dari tidur lelap yang telah lama dinantikan. Pusing juga ya kalo kelamaan tidur, haha. Anyways, yes saya baru saja balik dari misi budaya sekolah saya ke Marseille, France. Setelah itu juga sempet tour-tour yang seru tapi bikin pulang semakin ditunda haha. Nah, i love the tour. Karena rasa yang teramat malas untuk mengupload pula, post ini akan menjadi sangat membosankan karena ga ada gambar2nya. Maaf ya. Mungkin cuplikan cerita mengenai perjalanan saya akan diselipkan di post2 mendatang. Kekeke. Males banget.

Part 3; Game nerd
Omgahhh mau ada series terbaru untuk game ace attorney dengan Miles Edgeworth sebagai peran utamanya, tapi versi bahasa Inggrisnya baru ada Februari 2010. Sigh. Padahal saya lagi asik mainin ulang Apollo Justice. So fun you knaw. Jika sedang senggang, dan anda punya NDS, silakan mainin game2 ace attorney, ngga nyesel! Haha. Kingdom hearts juga mau ada versi NDSnya juga. Oh the joy!

Part 4; Special
God answers my prayers! MEW JADI DATANG KE INDONESIA. Dan ngga dibatalin karena bom di hotel marriott dan ritz carlton. F you bomberz. Cik acik acik berarti bisa nontoon~

Part 5; Sore
Tenggorokan sakit banget nih. Kekeringan kayaknya padahal minumnya udah lebay kayak orang dehidrasi di sahara. Hiperbola. Biarlah. Otak saya juga sakit gara2 kebanyakan tidur dan mikirin sekolah. Sok sibuk banget. Males banget mikirin sekolah lagi. Mana ini udah tahun terakhir sma, ya ampun. Time flies...

The One Where I Was Bored.. Again..

Oh plus i also bathe my cats today. Aramis (the cat), slept like about 5 hours after that, while Goma (the other cat) waited faithfully beside him and I think Suzanne (the other other cat) is pregnant. I should make a cat diary.

Yes, i just watched the dark knight yesterday.
Yes, i know it's so late.
Yes, i think it's one of the best movies last year.
Yes, i regret not watching it on the big screen.
Yes, i don't mind watching it all over again and again.
Yes, i think maggie gyllenhaal is just plain ugly.

The One Where I Was Too Lazy To Practice Violin and Another Movie Recommendation

Yeah, the title said it all. I'm gonna have a violin test tomorrow and because I'm such a procrastinator, well then.. :DDDD

God I'm so tired, i want another holiday. I want to catch up on my books, my dvds, my latest addiction cough*a certain anime*cough, and my.... last school project, aka. Karya Ilmiah =_=;;



On to the recommendatioooonnnnn! Well, by reading the last post you must know how much i suck at writing reviews and you must think that i would stop writing because of that right? WRONG. Haha! This one is titled Departures, or Okuribito (おくりびと) in Japan. God it was so pretty. I actually watched it before The Class, but yeah no particular reasons why i wrote about that first :D The movie was about a cello player turned a mortician (=funeral director). What a coincidence, I'm playing violin, and he's playing cello, haha.. Anyways, I can't stop saying how pretty the movie was. It was prettily done, it was prettily played, and the song was very pretty (was done by the guy who also wrote songs for Hayao Miyazaki movies such as Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. My favorites). The ceremony to dress up the dead (I don't know the right smart words for this) was very pretty. GOD i can't stop saying pretty. Well, basically it made you think about life and death, how different people handled it and there's also a tip about families. And again, this movie won the best foreign movie for this years oscars. OH OH it was soooo pretty, you must watch it! Watch it i say!!

The One Where I Gave My Cats A Bath Plus The Movie Recommendation

I haven't gave my cats a bath since a month ago, because well, haha I'm so busy and all :D Anyways, thank god today was a holiday (a REAL weekend holiday without any other school businesses) so i decided to take them for a bath with my brother. Every time i did this, i always ended up with a wound. Today was the worst. Well, the bath day before this was actually the worst because one of my cats ran away while she was still covered in foam. And she even got the time to play in the mud =__=. But today, my cats was behaving very well. Except one, Blackie was all calm and all when i sprayed her the water. But when i got to the shampooing part, my brother lost control of her, and she scratched my face. Darn cat. Not long after that, she also managed to scratch my foot. And when i realized i also got a scar on my right arm. The next bath day, I'll make sure I'm gonna use a knight's armor.



Currently, i have no homework to finish. I'm not lying. What? You don't believe me? I have zero homework, no essays, no... oh okay i lied, i got a tons of homework to finish. Whatever homework. Haunt me later when I'm not enjoying my weekends. I managed to watch a movie yesterday. It was Entre les murs aka. The Class. Well, I'm actually no good at writing movie reviews, but i'd really like to brag about the movie just for kicks, haha. Anyways, the movie is about a teacher and his rebellious class. Quite a common theme, but what differs it from other movies with the same theme and why i love it because it was so real. It's based from a real story, it's not too fake or made up, and i really love Mr Marin's (the teacher, the main character) way when he spoke back to his students. Very smart, but there are times where he snaps. It shows that teachers are humans too. Very touching and made me think a lot about school life. The Class was also the winner of the golden palm at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Watch it i say!
